I coloured this little beaut with prisma color pencils cut out with nestablities and mounted here onto a card topped with papermania paper from one of the many old pads I have ..note to self, I must start using them! I think I have probably had this one for 2/3 years !! Obviously I added a smattering of glamour dust to finish!!! lol
Here is a little card and carton I made for my Nan just to say thanks for being there for me. She is 91 and sharp as a tack still! Very caring and just well the best Nan ever! Full of wisdom and good advice and she tells it to you straight no faffing IYKWIMlol
The little card is a6 andIi simply added a strip of paper which is part of a free download From Zoe Pearn I made the circle sentiment myself using word and the flowers are punched using an x cut punch
I made the milk carton with the aid of my hougie board using my own measurements then covered a bull dog clip with matching paper. I filled it with my nans fave diabetic sweeties.
Really looking forward to this weekend, nothing much planned just taking it easy might pop out for lunch one day, do a bit of crafting maybe a tad of tidying in the garden if the sunshines at all. I hope you have an equally relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
I stamped the images in black memento ink and coloured with my prisma color pencils Cut them out using my rectangle plain and scallop nestabilties Punched a border along the backing papers with a scallop xcut border punch The sentiment is from a pollycraft designs stamp set the little flowers were punched using xcut punches I added a few gems to finish
I coloured him with prisma color pencils and cut him out using a circle nestability with the out of the box technique The circle sentiment is also a digi from Digi Stamp Boutique and is part of the Birthday Sentiment Set The spotty backing paper is download from pink petticoat. I layered them all up on to a card covered in parcel paper and added a bit of faux stitching to finish
Here are a few little note cards I made using a flower stamp from a papermania set. I simply stamped in brown chalk ink did a but bit of embossing and added a few gems for a pop.
I plan on giving a few sets like these to my mum/MIL/Sis And they are not square!!Hooray!! Hopefully a new years resolution I can stick to for a change! The diet has already gone out the window..Chinese friday night, out for dinner sat and sun. oooooooppppppps! was I able to resist the desert menu? I think not! oh well, I started again monday ..pmsl TFSB Kerry x
A couple of quick cards I made just because I liked the idea and needed to fill up my card box. Pretty similar to my other designs this week. The paper is from a pink petticoat download called lolas boudoir. I edited the colours in page plus and printed sentiments to match which I then cut out with nesties. Added a few punched flowers, beads and gems and voila!
...continued lol Another one of my new years resolutions was to try and not make every card with a stamped image on. We can so easily get stuck in a rut can't we?
For this card I printed the sentiment and cut out using a set of nesties label dies
The background is once again made doing simple scoring on myhougie board I made some rolled paper flowers and used awoodware grass punch for some leaves then I ink the edges of everything with antique linen distress ink.
Yes you guessed it more ivory linen card was used here ..pmsl I printed the sentiment and cut out as above
I BP is from a pink petticoat download called lolas boudoir I altered the colour in page plus to this lovely golden shade I embossed a border using the Hougie board, then simply diecut/punched a couple of flowers and added a couple of gems to finish.
..........and the start of my ivory linen phase..Long story but I have been left with a huge pile of ivory linen card after a disastrous wedding order went horribly wrong.. I won't go into details but..some people!!! grrr
Anyway back to my card The image is from the Cute Wedding Collection over at Digi Stamp Boutique. I absolutely adore these images as they started life when I asked Sally-Ann if she could create something for me to use for some things for my nieces wedding...so they are special to me
I printed the digi onto Linen card and simplyhighlighted with a brown prismacolor pencil The background embossing was done on my hougie board The flowers are a cuttlebug die and xcut punch and the leaves are a woodware grass punch I computer generated the sentiment and added pearls and highlighted with a sakura stardust pen
This one is using one of the images from this months offer of the month Pippa and Sonny Love Collection Again on linen card...lol and coloured with prisma pencils background created using the hougie board and the sentiment is also from digi stamp boutique Here I added a bit of ribbon and punched flower and a faux pearl to finish
Isn't she just the cutest?? Another of my favourite images from Digi Stamp Boutique Too cute for words!!
I coloured her with prisma color pencils and added glamour dust to dress I covered the card front with brown parcel paper and added a strip of gingham and a large circle cut with nesties The sentiment is also cut out with circle nesties and is from Digi Stamp Boutique. Just part of the new Birthday Sentiment set. I punched a little flower with an xcut punch and added a little gem and some faux stitching to finish.
For this first card I simply printed the image 3 times and matted onto some linen card I did the sentiment myself and printed directly onto the card blank I then added a touch of glamour dust around the edge of the frames for a bit of dimension The photo REALLY doesn't do this card justice ..even hubby commented on how nice it was IRL (highly honoured! lol)
Again I printed the image onto linen card and generated the sentiment myself to coordinate The background was embossed using my hougie board. I reaaly like this quilted look simle but effective I think! I added a bit of ribbon and a couple of gems to finish.
Pop over to The Clip Art Fairy and see what else is going on Wendy has some fab stuff and for a bit more inspriration you can see her fab cards here
I printed the card and sentiment directly onto the card and simply added a red gem to one of the hanging heart. I embossed the border using my hougie board and added a simple ribbon to finish.
Again a very simple card incorporating both the valentine bird collection and the brand new valentine sentiments. I simply added a bit of glamour dust to the hanging hearts and embossed a couple of lines onto the card. the sentiment was cut using rectangle nesties and mounted onto 3d foam for a bit of dimension. I love how these two cards turned out. So simple and easy to do too as there was no colouring involved :)
Hope you like them and thanks for stopping by Kerry x
Here's a little card I have made using one of Ruth's beautiful floral digi images This one is called two roses and you can find in over on a passion for stamps
The image is so beautiful it doesn't really need a lot doing to it. I printed it out onto linen card and added my own computer generated sentiment then simply coloured it with prisma color pencils and matted onto some black card . The border was cut using an xcut border punch and I added a few faux pearls to finish.
I started with the flu which turned into super bad tonsillitis and ended up with quinsy (abscess). I have had to have it drained OMG Don't want that again in a hurry.... I can tell you!!! And now I have sinusitis!! Got antibiotics but they don't seem to be doing a great deal.Although I do feel much brighter today, not half as achy so hopefully that part is over with! But you wouldn't want to be around me at the mo...moan moan moan...lol Hubby has even deserted me and moved into the spare bed :( apparently I am dripping with germs!!! HMMMPPPHHHH

These three images are this month's offer of the month and There are a few other too cute new releases too here
As soon as I saw them I had to get colouring. When closed they are looking longingly at each other and when open it reveals them kissing...bless I coloured them with prisma color pencils stamped a few bits of parcel paper cut them out with a nestie and a nellies die printed the sentiment on the comp added a bit of faux stitching and Voila!!
Just a quick post today cos I am rotten with the lurgy. Just making this card has worn me out!! lol TFSB Kerry x
Wendy at the clipart fairy has released some beautiful new stuff recently and I need to get my creative juices flowing again after the hols so here are a couple of quick cards made from a new product which is available both ready to print and interactive .
I used the interactive version which can be found HERE
In each version there are 2 frames with a stamped effect flower, one flower is the black outline and the other is the same flower image with the areas in white so you can colour themyourself.
The All Blue range co-ordinates with the papers from this set HERE
The co-ordinating backing paper I used is currently a freebie on Wendy's blog HERE
I coloured the images with prisma colour pencils and added a few coloured accents. The pictures look a little grey sorry about that it seems it's rubbing off from thew sky here today which is absolutely awful...grey, miserable, murky!!! yukk roll on spring!! IRL they are actually a beautiful pale blue colour and the purples and blues I chose to colour them with really pop. If you pop over to Wendys blog you can see a more true to life example of the colour
