I am VERY sad today :(
My poor Buster was knocked over last night and sadly his injuries were to severe and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have him put to sleep.
We are very angry that whatever scumbag ran him over did not have the decency to stop!!Pig.
But thankful that a lovely lady passing by saw him struggling to get back the path and stopped to help.

To say we are devastated is an understatement. I have not stopped crying yet and hubby is just as bad. I will miss him so much. Our only comfort is that we know that he has had a good life with us, to be honest he has been spoiled rotten! He was generally lopping most of the time either upside down on the sofa or snuggled up next to one of us having a good old fuss. I will miss those fusses the most!!
We love you Buster our beautiful boy and you will never be forgotten

Seven cards in....

Well, we did come home last night :( Couldn't stand anymore sick and you know ewwww plus I didn't want to risk catching the dreaded lurgy with my stomach being the way it is anyway.
So I am really trying to make the most of this free time. I set myself a challenge to see how many xmas cards I could make today. And here are the results so far, well 5 of them cos Thats how many photos this site will let me upload in one post lol. Will show you the others tomorrow. I still have 4 more image coloured in so will try and make those into something this evening.
I have keep the colours the same for all of them to try and make them quicker to do. Seems to have worked so far.

Heres a couple of easel style cards I made last week.

The image on this one is from a download by pccrafter called santas little helpers. Printed in outline image and coloured with prismas. Paper is from and old dcwv stack

The papers on this one are free download from the lovely summer
I coloured the sugar nellie image with prismas and added a few gems and glamour dust to finish

I am away at the mo staying with friends but there 2 girls are very poorly with some sort of stomach Bug.
Was planning to stay until wednesday but I think we will be driving home tonight now :( very dissapointed because I love spending time with them but I suppose it will atleast give me some time for some more xmas card making. So you never now I might even have something else to show you this week. Miracle or what ? lol

It was my nans 90th yesterday. We had a huge family meal at a local hotel. But because the kids were missing out on halloween I thought I would make them a treat.
I made 12 of these!! Blimey it was hard work cutting out all the templates but well worth it, as the kids loved them!
I got the free template from this fabulous blog

I doubled the size of the template and printed them onto printed backing papers onto card from http://summertimedesigns.blogspot.com/
The images are all free too and coloured with prismacolour pencils
I cut out the bats myself and added pearl eyes and glitter veins
Sentiment computer generated and cut out using nesties. Little plastic critters from asda. I filled them with sweets and little halloween toys.

We had a fabulous time and It was great to get all the family together.

Back and Jack

Hi all, Long time no blog.

Feeling much better after my break so had a bit of a crafty day yesterday and I am planning to carry on today, well if hubby makes the dinner lol

Heres a card I made for my niece to give to her nephew Jacck for his 1st birthday. Blimey can't believe it has been a year already!! Where does the time go, heh?

Anyway onto my card. I realy like how this one turned out..for a change. It looks so much nicer in real lifelol

Teddy from daisy and dandelion range stamped with colorbox chalk ink onto papermill ivory card.
The background is stamped using the same ink. I didn`t have a spotty stamp so I punch a tiny dot out of funky foam and glued it to my acrylic block and used that. I think it came out quite well :)
Sentiments are computer generated and cut out with circle nesties
Stamped name with studio g 99p alpha set and mounted up onto 3d foam
bow and pearl to finish
Box made in the same materials

Hi everyone.. can't believe it has been so long since I posted. Where does the time go eh?

Life has somewhat taken over at the moment and I am feeling incredibly blue! So I have decided to give this blog a bit of a break for a little while. I have no time and my Mojo seems to have gone walk about too.

Something to treasure ?????

I have recently been lucky enough to have been working with some lovely craft papers from photo paper direct
I have been wanting to make hubbies cousin something different for when their baby arrives as a keepsake and their inkjet tshirt transfer paper gave me an idea.
I bought a set of basic white bibs from tesco and set to work. The paper was super easy to work with. Basically you just print, cut out and iron on.
I printed the main symbol and wording then cut it out and ironed on
Then printed some patterned paper and punched out some tiny flowers with a mini xcut punch and ironed those on too.

This is how it started life

my niece 30....

Blimey that makes me feel old !! But I was only 6 when she was born lol

Heres a little set that my other niece asked me to make for her

This one is from the kids. I tried to colour the characters from the wee folks download
from clip clop crafts to look like them

And heres a wine bottle tag I made with the scraps

I have coloured all the imges with prismacolor pencils and all the flowers are made from a cuttlbug die, xcut punch and woodware grass punch

I have been making these over the last couple of weeks.
My niece wanted them all to match. I still have a bag to decorate for the bracelet they got her and a candle to make from the kids with the smae image on it. Needed by the end of the month. Hope my stepdad is out of hospital by then and I get the time.
Thanks for all your good wishes and asking about him. He was going for another ct scan this morning cos they now think he has a secondary infection but are not sure where. He did look alot better in his self last night though.

Well sorry if I still haven't visited you after I announced my planned mage blog hop.

Been up at the hospital again the last few days!! My step dad had his gallbladder removed on friday, only keyhole so should have been plan sailing!Oh no not in our family we don't do straight forward when it comes to hospitals lol. He came home saturday and seemed fine. Sunday morning my mum calls and says that he has been in considerable pain during the night. I told her if he still wasn't any better to phone the hospital on the number they had given her. I kn ew he shouldn't have been in pain since when I had mine out I just felt a bit roughed up IYKWIM. Anyway she did and they said it didn't sound right and told her to send for an ambulance. She did and it turns out he has pluracy (sp) it has resulted in one of his lungs collapsing. He seems to be ok when I went to see him this afternoon but it is very worrying to see him looking so poorly. What with everything happeneing with my nan just recently.. grrr nothing ever goes right for us... my mum is about on her last legs bless her.

sorry for moaning just needed to get that off my chest lol
I will get around to visiting and commenting on all yoru lovely creations soon (maybe)

Long time no post, sorry about that. Everyday life has sort of taken over at the mo.. don't know where the time goes!!
I was asked to make this card by a lady for a couple who are getting married but live on a narrowboat. Yes I says thinking that should be easy enough, bound to be plenty of images on the net..lol how wrong was I? So after hours scrouring the net and enlisting the help of my forum buddies I still couldn't come up with anything half decent. So I admitted defeat and made this instead. Minus one narrowboat but I like it so I'm happy.. Hopefully the lady who asked me to make it won't be too dissapointed that I couldn 't incorporate the narrowboat... well she better be cos it's this or nothing ..lolI decorated the inside too

Heres a simple wedding card that I have made for hubbies cousins wedding. What no stamped image I here you cry! shock horro. They are not having a tradional wedding. Just popping of to the registry office on friday with 4 peeps and then having a bbq on sat so no flowers, cake etc so I didn't really have any image suitable.

I wasn't really sure when I was making it but I quite like it now.

Hubby treated me to these stamps yesterday and I just had to ink her up.. isn't she the cutest I decided to go for a non tradional colour combo.(the card is actually pink not cream like it shows in the piccie) Not sure if it works now though lol

She has been coloured with prisma colour pencils
snowflake is xcut punch and the snowflake and sentiment stamps are from a studio G 99p set

I am having a lot of trouble with blogger (as are a few it seems)so If I haven't left you any comments lately it's not because I have forgotten you, just that this stupid site won't let me!! I can't view some of the piicies on my blog either and now my blogroll has gone all silly to grrrr

Heres a card that I have made for my hubbies cousin whos baby is due at the beginning of September I used joanna sheen messy rabbit stamp amd lightly coloured with prisma pencils. The flowers have been dry embossed with a papermania stencil. Cuttlebug swiss dots panel covering where the lace is gathered. I handstiched aroung the image and added a couple of buttons to finish

Although they know it is going to be a girl... you can never be 100% can you? So i made a blue one too lol

Hi bloggers,
Hope you are all having a good weekend so far. It has been lovely weather here today and my sis offered to take over looking after my nan for the day, so I spent the morning pottering in the garden and then this afternoon I had a trip to my local craft shop followed by lunch with hubby in a country pub. Then home to a nice relaxing soak in the bath and then an evening of crafting ...ooooohh what a fabulous day...please let me win the lotto so it can be everyday.....lol
Right enough of the dreaming! on to my cards

I am really loving these cute digi stamps from the digi stamp boutique. They are so easy to colour. I simply stamped a background with brown chalk ink. I then coloured her dress with prismas and masked then stamped the same brown flowers on it to coordinate. The flower punch is from woodware and added a few gems to finish

I love this cutie from elzybells too. This time I paper pieced her dress and coloured the rest with prismas. The pp is from a free download from the canon website ( I think) The flowers are a cuttlebug die and woodware punch

cowboys and indians

Hiya peeps, long time no blog heh?

Heres a card that my niece asked me to make For a cowboy and indian themed wedding of all things.. I have to admit that I really struggled with it

I have no cowboy or indian stuff in my stash at all but after a plea for help One of my buddies over on Docrafts forum came to my rescue by sending me these images
The wording is computer generated
images are coloured with prismas
embossed hearts from a papermania stencil ( been a long time since my light box seen the light of day lol)
Added a couple of gems to finish

Now I have been asked to make another one from someone else...grrr I hate to say no but I think I'm gonna have too!!

My Nan is finally out of hosptial and doing well. Although still fragile she is in a much better frame of mind.

Hi all,
Firstly can I say a huge thankyou to everyone who has left me such lovely messages and taken the time to email me with well wishes for my Nan. She is still in hospital, but is looking a lot better the last few days and I am soooooo hoping she will be back home by next week. My nan being so unwell of late has really shocked me. Because although she is almost 90 she has never been any serious illnesses before and she has sooooo NOT been a doddery old lady! She has been very active for her lady of her age. Guess we will just have to accept that she is a very old lady now (but please don't tell her I said that cos I will get a thick ear lol) The doctor has been to see her today and told her " your body is falling to bits but theres nothing wrong with your mind" .. pmsl, shes as sharp as a tack!!!

Still not made any cards cos I have been backwards and forwards to the hospital so much and trying to look after my mum aswell cos I think she has worried herself sick about my nan and she is having problems with her diabetes at the mo too. I don't know whether I am coming or going to be honest. Hopefully I will have something to show you over the next few days.. please don't desert me!!!!!! lol
