Gingham again!!

Here's the first of the cards I have made for my nephews teaching asisstants.
This is for a "special one" Elinor has been the asisstant in Evans class since he first started at the school and she has moved along with his class since the start. So he asked me for a boxed card cos she is special to him ...bless

And here is the inside.

There is another page on the right that mirrors the one on the left, except the circle is plain for my nephew to write in. I downloaded this little monster from somewhere ages ago and I haven't got a clue where..sorry I have coloured it with prismas and them gne over the whole thing with glamour dust.
The papers are a download from funky fairies papercraft.. I am loveing these ginghams, best £2.50 I have ever spent. The letters are computer generated.
The verse was given to me by one of my buddies over on the docrafts forum.

Here's another card for my gorgeous great niece Harriet
It's a concertina book with 9 pages
This time from her mummy and daddy
I have used the cuddly buddly pink alpha download. But printed them as an outline image then coloured them myself. I have then paper pieced all the little gingham bits. What a silly idea.... I tell you, my little fingers are really sore now. It took me an absolute age to cut all them fiddly bits out lol
Heres the front and the box And here is first page of the inside. . I have done all the other pages the same to spell out her name HARRIET but didn't want to bore you with them all...... and I couldn't fit them all on the piccie lol

Heres a 8 x 8 card I have made for my sister to give to her granddaughter Harriet on her first birthday. Can't believe she is one already.. where has the last year gone?
The paper is MME (I think it's called blossom, but I have thrown that bit away again lol) and the image was kindly sent to me by the lovely Vicki.(thanks hun)
Punches are xcut and woodware and I covered a chipboard number in the same paper and added some glamour dust and gems for a bit more bling. The sentiment is computer generated.

I also decorated the inside and the envelope.

And I thought I would show you a piccie of the little lady herself.

She is just the cutest baby!! luvs her, I do!!!

Lol just realised, think I have a thing for faux stitching !!

One stop craft challenge 33..add some sparkle

heres my card for this weeks one stop craft challenge The challenge is to add some sparkle. Not hard for me as almost every card I make has some sort of bling on it lol

Heres a card I have made for my sister to give her grandson Ciaran for his 10th birthday.I must make a start on mine now. Why is it I make everybody in the whole family one and then end up making mine at the last minute? lol
The image is Josh from the idgi stamp boutique and the paper is from a cd by funky hand called funky daze. I love the splatts!! I have coloured him with prismas and copics. The setiment was computer generated and cut out with nesties and the name was stamped using one of the little wooden alphabet sets from studio g ( bargain 99p) Finished with a bit of faux stitching.

Sorry I haven't been around much just lately, will endeveour to visit all your fabulous blogs sometime over the weekend. I am still not feeling 100% so not spending much time on the comp. Hi all,

Well still strggling with me mojo. Just can't seem to get going at all, But I did manage to make a few cards yesterday. I treated myself to a fabulous gingham download from funky fairies the other week so thought I better use it lol.





I'm not really over keen on these cards but thought I better give you all something to look at before you desert me ..lol

Well I am still off the nicotine sticks, which has amazed me really cos I didn't think I would make a week to be honest!! I am actually starting to feel like a non smoker now ..wooohoooo!!
