Got a million birthday cards to make an no inspiration at all. I'll be blowed if I'm gonna but any though, If I have to send plain ones with just happy Bday written on um I will lol

fagless and proud lol

Hi all, As you may have noticed from my side bar, i gave up the nicotine last week. I am now on my 7th day and haven't even sniffed one. It has been a tough week but I am so proud of myself . can't believe I have even got this far to be honest!! Anyway this is why there has been no cardage over the last week. i just haven't been able to concentrate at all. More images and screwed up paper has gone in the bin tis week than I dare to mention lol
Anyway I sat down tonight and actually managed to make something..yeeepeee!!
This card is mostly recycled. The backing card Is from an old papermillshop box and has been stamped with CCSR doodle stamps. The buttons are from a huge tin of old ones that my nan gave me and the twine was attaching the tag to my new Jeans. The image was coloured with copics.

I am still having problems with this silly blogger. My pop up boxes aren't working and I am struggling to leave comments on some blogs. So if I haven't visited you recently this is the reason why. I am gonna have another go tonight. Thankyou for all the lovely comments over the last few weeks, They really do mean a lot to me.

Hope you are all having a great week so far. I am not having such a great one. My pipes under the bath decided to spring a leek yesterday. Went downstairs to find it was not only raining out side but in the kitchen too!! Oh dear lol. Had plumber out and all fixed now. But, looks like decorating for me this weekend :(
..anyway enough waffle on to my card lol

I recently came across this fabby blog. If you like cute animlas you should really take a look. This is one of his freebies that he gives away every wednesday. So I downloaded for a little try. They print super and are a dream to colour. I will deffo be going back to purchase some once I have made my mind up which ones to get lol I need them all really. What are we like eh?
Anyway I have coloured him with copics although I wish I had had a lighter green to achieve more shading and simply matted onto cordinations cardstock.

Stamped image storage???

Hi all,

I have really been struggling to find suitable storgae for all the stamped images my lovely crafty buddies have sent me.Up to now I have had them in an A5 expandable file. But It was overflowing so I have been storing the over flow in little plastic tubs (the kind you get from the taleaway). Ok I suppose but not very attractive. Well when I came across this tutorial. I just had to have a go.Even if you don't plan to make the boxes, you should pop over to her amzing blog and have a look. Her work is fabulous and there are loads of tutorials on there

I couldn't believe how simple it was to make. Even though the insrutions are in German, there are loads of piccies so it was real simple to follow. I made this one in just under an hour. Not bad for a fisrt go.

I am going to make a whole series of them. 1 for every brand of stamped image I have.
The board I used was an old cereal packet(gawd hubby will be rolling his eyes again when I start asking peeps to save them lol)
I covered it with wrapping paper from Ikea and the pp is from CCSR stack. Yet another Anya Lol Coloured with copics.

Just magnolia Challenge (stitching)

I am entering this card into the just magnolia challenge for this week. I originally made the card for last weeks sketch saturday but I forgot to upload it. Seemed a shame to waste it so I added a bit of stiching and hey presto!! lol

The image is coloured with prismas/copics and the papers are a free download from summer driggs. The flowers were very kindly sent to me by the very lovely Vicki and the ribbon is some that hubbies aunty gave me a few weeks back.
