Comfy...

...slippers.
I think the heat has melted my card making mojo :( It's just to hot to sit in my little room so I picked up my hook and sat outside to make another pair of these.
I followed the basic pattern here but used two strands of yarn on a slightly smaller hook to make the a bit more chunky/warm.

Here's what they look like on, please excuse the corned beef/pale pegs lol
I so need some sun!

Last time I made them I found them a bit slippy on my wooden/tiles floors . Then I had a light bulb moment and had the idea to used some of that 3d paint on the bottom to make some sticky pads
Not the neatest but works a treat :)

Hope you are having a great week.
Kerry x

These are gorgeous! beautiful colours. Could you share any of your crotchet tips with me? Where to buy your wool, etc? I am trying to learn crotchet, and past the first line i can not get anywhere.

I want to make some baby shoes for my niece. But i am really struggling.

Gorgeous and comfy looking and what a clever idea for the non-slip feet. Mrs Clever clogs.....or should that be Mrs Clever slippers!! Doesnt quite roll off the tongue as easily. Lee xx

Hi Kerry. These are great. My orders for a size 6 in the same colours!
My mojo's gone too but my excuse is the heat over here, 36c today and rising........ Seriously the slippers would be great here in the winter as it does get cold in the evenings. Love Sheila x
